Taking a tertiary level general hospital in Wuhan as the research object, the business volume and energy consumption of three hospital districts for many years are statistically analysed. The use destination of electricity, natural gas, water and steam in the hospital is traced back, and their monthly use changes are analysed. The energy consumption level of the hospital is evaluated by using the relevant energy consumption indicators, and the relevant factors influencing the energy consumption of the hospital are explored. Based on the energy use characteristics, the suggestions are put forward for the subsequent energy-saving strategies, to provide a reference for the building energy-saving and green and low-carbon transformation of large general hospitals.
